There is a new modern cosmopolitan hotel in the Queen City. Hotel Celare is located at 310 Straight St Cincinnati, Ohio 45219. Part of the Marriott Tribute Portfolio Collection. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is approximately 20 miles from the hotel. Conveniently across from the University of Cincinnati main campus.

The 1st floor has plenty of seating outside to wait for a ride or to enjoy conversation. Inside of the 1st floor offers valet parking and luggage carts to carry belongings to the elevator and your room. Check in is on the 2nd floor with bright smiling employees and eager to check you in.

The Celare staff are down to earth, personable, professional, and kind. Atop of the 2nd floor elevators is a wraparound art installation with 3D apples, and captivating to visually explore.

There are several seating options in the elegant lobby and a gentle scent of “Golden Bamboo” a select smell that makes you feel as if all things are possible. They also sell soy-based candles with the same luxurious scent.

The use of wood, marble, velvet, leather, urban graffiti, and geometric designs are eclectic, yet offered its own unique mod vibe to the hotel. Especially the hanging light fixtures that transform light into art.

The nooks alongside the wall offer space to work on a laptop or have a moment of privacy. Great lighting in the nooks and wall graffiti are urban chic. Several books on interesting subjects are available on the lobby tables.

Large expansive views from the windows with natural light flooding into the space are delightful. Comfortable sofas, club chairs with glamourous textures and easy get up from. The velvet chairs, marble mosaic tiles on the floors, and the plush geometric area rugs were my favorites. Near the front desk is a fun store with yummy treats, half bottles of wine, Jeni’s ice cream cups, Grippo’s potato chips, and Cincy beer company cans of beer. Nice to see so many local companies being featured and promoted in the store.

Off to my room on the 6th floor

Outstanding views of the city from my big window and an even bigger wall mounted television. Soft pure white linens, several amazing pillows that mold to your neck and head. Lots of positive energy from the careful use of colors in the room. The closets light up when opened and shut off when closed. Eco friendly and sustainable on the part of Celare. The closet was filled with amenities: iron, ironing board, sturdy hangers for holding coats and slacks. Pull out drawers, metal hooks, and luggage storage. A large desk for working and a cozy chair for sitting. Many ways to control the lights in the room without getting out of bed. The shower was a pleasant surprise with a rain forest style shower head. Gosh, it was super pleasurable to have the water sprayed all over me that way! The wallpaper in the bathroom was designed exclusively for the Celare. I enjoyed the moist makeup remover sheets in the bathroom, and the blow dryer to pretty-up. I had a marvelous night sleep and felt very pampered in the room.

Rooms for Accessibility

There is a room for everyone at Celare and this includes those with mobility issues. I had a chance to see such a room and its well thought out for those in a wheelchair. One such room has a tub where the wheelchair can go inside the tub. Another room with wide doorways, tub bars, bars right near the toilet, lowered sinks, and more. Another room offers special amenities for the hearing impaired.

Furry Guests

Pets are welcome up to 75lbs each. Non-Refundable Pet Fee Per Stay $100.00. Check with Celare for all the fine details when bringing in pets.

Fitness Center

A very nice fitness center has state of the art equipment and staying in shape is important. I really liked that there is a patio just outside of the fitness center.

Yeah, when finished working out there is a terrific patio with chairs and tables to cool off. Or perhaps have a bottle of Celare water which is provided in the fitness center, along with fresh towels. A room key is required to enter the fitness center.

Ice machines are on each floor in a clearly marked room. Daily housekeeping and meeting spaces is available, along with free Wi-Fi, and digital check in. A beautiful property is one thing and a charming, professional staff is everything. Even if you donโ€™t stay overnight as I did, go to experience the phenomenal property and be inspired.
