A view of the double rooms offered at the Summit.

The Summit Hotel is a strategically placed property in Madisonville. Located at 5345 Medpace Way Cincinnati, Ohio near the corner of Redbank.

Unique architecture appears all across the lobby.

Designed to visually captivate, and inspire guests, The Summit offers a transformative journey from every day to extraordinary. From the moment you pull up to the Summit Hotel the modern light fixers outside are visually interesting.

The large open space in the lobby offers architectural intelligence. There are stairs in the middle of the lobby that lead to other floors. It seems to be suspended in midair. Friendly guest service at the front desk and the staff is eager to help. Cozy seating in various areas, Summit Hotel is the perfect place to reflect on business ventures. I enjoyed the glass elevators that offer a sense of weightlessness.

For the Love of Art

Located just off the lobby, the Summitโ€™s 5,800-square-foot art gallery showcases rotating exhibitions of contemporary works by national and regional artists. The exhibitions change every 4 months and are celebrated with an opening reception. This amazing gallery is free of charge for visitors and guests.

Wanda also found a cozy spot to relax at the Summit’s library fireplace.

A Need to Read with a Fireplace

There is a handsome library filled with current books, and I read a book on daily manners. A modern wall fireplace and a full-sized pool table for keeping that winning edge. Comfortable seating and gorgeous mixed metal lamps to work on a project or have a cup of coffee. This space is classy and feels like a night on the town. The entire property is a modern urban big city oasis under one roof.

A Room for Two

Off to my Deluxe Double Queen room on the 8th floor. My room and the entire property are extremely clean and attention to fine details.

Complimentary Wi-Fi that had a strong signal, mini fridge, a big 55-inch TV, Keurig machine, elegant plush towels, my favorite was the Zero% bath products with triple milled soaps. The mattress was super luxe, and I barely wanted to get out of my bed. Soft white fresh bedding made my sleep a night in paradise.

The whimsical art and red mirror on the wall were interesting and added to the upscale modern decor. Seating near the front door was convenient, and a desk with a swivel chair to work on a laptop. A closet filled with wooden hangers, iron, ironing board, storage space and extra bedding. The bathroom has amazing lighting, and I believe somehow made me look younger.

Other Amenities

There is a fitness center for guests with Peloton equipment which is cleaned throughout the day for sanitary purposes. There is free yoga classes offered on Saturday from 9-10 am on the rooftop by a trained instructor.

The summit has special rooms for those with disabilities, enquire more info, with guest services. Consider having this yearโ€™s family reunion at the Summit. A roof top with vast seating, restaurants to feed the entire family, event rooms, and a complimentary shuttle within a five-mile radius.

Come back next week and I’ll share my wine and dining experience at The Summit Hotel.
