I love the intricate orb shaped bottle of Chambord Liqueur. It’s one of the most beautiful alcohol vessels in the world. Produced in the Loire Valley of France from whole raspberries, black raspberries, and blackcurrants. Rich creamy Madagascar vanilla, Moroccan citrus orange peel, honey, fragrant herbs, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg. These warm spices add depth and style to this fine liqueur.
All the delicious juices from the blackberries, raspberries and blackcurrants are mixed with French spirits and left up to several weeks to infuse and unlock the rich flavor. The honey comes through, and the bold taste of the fermented berries is deliciously stunning. Gorgeous purple hue and silky smoothness on the palate. Very sweet and contains 16% ABV, the orange peel pulls back the sweetness a bit. Delicious in a cocktail and spooned over a scoop of summer vanilla ice cream, or over the rocks. Let’s have fun and make a cocktail with Chambord liqueur. I prefer to drink a less sweet, iced tea or completely unsweetened. Choose an iced tea that will satisfy your sweet tooth and remember there aren’t too many rules when making cocktails at home. Try making ice cubes in an ice tray with iced tea and keep the flavor of the cocktail intact.
