Portlandia wines have an incredible portfolio of well-made wines. They have a fresh unique approach to wine making that is impressive and sustainable.

Portlandia sparkling rosé

A blend of Syrah picked from cooler vineyards in Columbia Valley, Washington State. Wines from Washington State are often overlooked and this is an error, because the wines are fair priced, well made, and delicious.

This rosé has the right balance of sweetness and acidity and is completely delicious. In fact, it’s my favorite sparkling rosé of the year! Exploding tastes of fresh ripened strawberry, hints of rhubarb, refreshing lemon zest, and elegant bubbles. A lovely long finish of strawberry along with sliced red watermelon. Very diverse for food pairing and amazing with salmon, roasted veggies, barbecue chicken, brunch, raspberry scones, garlic with mussel dishes, and smoked turkey wings.

Portlandia Pinot Noir

Aromas of Marionberry, pitted cherries, dried cranberries, earth, subtle notes of baking spices. Rich flavors of homemade blackberry cobbler are layered with accents of black tea, violets, and savory herbs. A fresh acidity provides structure and balance through the long earthy finish.

Aged for 10 months in 20% new French oak, which means the oak barrel is predominantly new and still has plenty of style and flavor. Oregon has produced the most wonderful Pinot noir wines anywhere at any time. I am hooked on this one, it’s full of style and flavor, light bodied, strong dried cranberry flavor, and a midnight acidity. Pairs with veggie toppings pizza, grilled pork chops, blackened salmon, western omelet, caviar on crackers, and baked chicken.
