Yes, I realize that I don’t showcase enough sweet wines. The truth is I enjoy some sweet wines and drink them on occasions. However, they must be quality sweet wine with style and character. I recently discovered a darling sweet white wine that everyone will crave all spring and summer.

Obsession Symphony is made from a wine grape crossing of Grenache Gris and Muscat of Alexandria.

Captivating aromas of gardenia, honeysuckle, a delightful spring breeze, and fragrant jasmine. Remarkable flavors of passion fruit, pineapple, Georgia peaches, fresh ginger, and star fruit. The wine is produced in California and a rosรฉ version is also available.

Obession symphony isn’t cloying sweet and offers a nice acidity. All sweet wine must have some acidity, or its reminiscent of pancake syrup. The acid offers another level of sophistication to the wine and calms the sweet.

When I lived in Ann Arbor, Mich which is a beautiful diverse part of the state. I learned how to make both Tai and Indian food fluently. Today I made a red curry dish featuring eggplant, chickpeas, Red Thai Chili peppers, spinach, mushrooms, unsweetened coconut milk, and green onions. This wine paired beautifully with the meal and harmonized with each ingredient.

I also like this wine with unsalted roasted cashews and macadamia nuts. The wine is also great as a stand-alone while relaxing and pondering life.

The bottle has a twist off cap and a lovely daffodil on the label, ready for springtime. Obession Symphony is unique for those that have been waiting for the perfect sweet white wine.
