Wine will not taste its best if stored long-term in a home refrigerator. The environment is simply too cold and too dry. The constant agitation of a home refrigerator isn’t friendly either.

Consider investing in a wine refrigerator, prices and storage capacity vary; purchase a size just a bit larger than what you currently need. Dual–Zone models can store two types of wine at two different temperatures.

The wine refrigerator will need to sit right side up for a full day before use. Some have LED lights, removable racks, and humidity control options.

Always use the correct cords, follow manufactures instructions, and check customer reviews before choosing a unit.
